The following information explains how it works:

To become a member and maintain membership in our Contractor Referral Program we use the following Criteria as we require that you:

1. Have a positive working relationship with Roof Depot
2. Have an open and active charge account with Roof Depot
3. Keep your account current
4. Be Licensed and Insured without numerous claims
5. Have a good reputation in the building/construction community and have not had repeated complaints from homeowners
6. Be responsive with immediate follow-up on any Roof Depot Referrals
7. Show Roof Depot offered products on Referred Sales Contacts wherever possible.
8. Notify Roof Depot immediately whenever you're too busy to follow up on a Roof Depot Referral.
9. Be clearly reciprocating other business to Roof Depot for being part of the Contractor Referral Program.

The following information is given to Homeowners interested in the Contractor Referral Program:

Reroofing, residing or remodeling a home is not an everyday experience. In fact, it usually occurs only once every 10-15 years. We work hard to help educate homeowners with free advice. In return, the business is often placed with us, through the contractor.

How do we select the Contractors we refer?
The Contractors we refer are people we know. They are our customers and our friends. We see them everyday. The most important test our Contractors must pass before we refer them - "Would we be willing to hire the Contractor?" If the answer is YES, then we're glad to refer them to a homeowner.
Do Contractors pay for our referrals?
No. If the referral turns into a job, the Contractor will usually purchase the materials from Roof Depot. There is no binding agreement, only a handshake and the understanding that we expect the Homeowner to get excellent service.
How should you select a Contractor?
First of all, try to get a reliable referral. Next, the Contractor should provide proof of State License, Bonding and Insurance coverage. Finally, make your selection based upon written job estimates and, of course, your personal assessment of their professional appeal and the answers to ALL your questions.
What should you do if want an additional Contractor Referral?
We believe you should interview at least two qualified contractors. More than three, contractors generally feel their time may be wasted. We refer contractors based upon the information you provide us. Should you feel a contractor is not qualified for the scope of work your job requires, call us. We will gladly offer another referral.

Roof Depot's Contractor Referral Program is a FREE service offered to Homeowners and qualified contractors. It is conducted entirely with the homeowner's satisfaction in mind. Your questions and/or comments are always welcome.

Contractors in our referral program are also eligible for membership in CLUB DEPOT, a members-only area on our website where members will find product specials and exclusive events for CLUB DEPOT members only. The CLUB DEPOT area is also where members go to retrieve their contractor referrals.
