Business Development is responsible to fostering new and current relationships for roofing and siding for The Roof Depot’s new construction division in the North Carolina and South Carolina region. The overall goal of business development at The Roof Depot, LLC. is to be successful in continuing to grow the company revenue stream and customer base.
The Business Development Rep builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads. Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs. Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs. Collaborates with the Estimating team to ensure accurate and competitve proposals.
Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
The Ideal candidate has excellent leadership and management skills. Solid sales, customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Computer literate. Self motivated and results-driven.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required. Bachelor degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field is preferred. At least five years of related experience required.
Must have a valid driver's license and meet our driver eligibility requirements.
Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug test.
